In conjunction with LucasArts, GameSpy is unveiling new pieces in the story and history of the Star Wars universe. Entitled "Chronicles of the Old Republic," they will unveil two a week through Dec. 21.

This is actually set up as part of the KoTOR games and therefore Ancient History for Galixies players, but Star Wars is Star Wars, and those who love it will be interested. Enjoy.

Part I: A Golden Age
Time frame: 5,000 B.B.Y. (Before the Battle of Yavin IV, Ep4)
Period Name: The Great Hyperspace War

It is a time of great expansion. Meanwhile, on the far side of the galaxy, the Sith Empire has grown powerful under the rule of MARKA RAGNOS. His death leads to a power vacuum, and two leaders, NAGA SADOW and LUDO KRESSH, fight for destiny. Sadow wins and learns of the Republic.

The Great Hyperspace War begins, and the Sith are relentless, pushing Republic forces back to the red-giant star Primus Goluud. After betrayal, however, Sadow is decisively routed, and the Republic follow him, decimating the Sith. Survivors escape with Sadow to YAVIN 4, where he draws on Sith sorcery to cocoon himself in suspended animation.

Part II: The Shadow of Freedon Nadd
Time frame: 4,400 - 3,999 B.B.Y.
Period name: The Fall of the Sith Empire and Tales of the Jedi

An ambitious Jedi, FREEDON NADD, unearths Sadow who teaches dark twistings of the Force. Nadd is intent on ruling the primitive ONDERON, succeeds, and after his death, Nadd's sarcophagus became the focus of dark-side energy, continuing a civil war between the city and jungle dwellers; the Beast Wars. This dispute leads the Jedi to send ULIC and CAY QEL-DROMA, and TOTT DONEETA to intervene.

After the daughter of Queen Amanoa, and the jungle rebel leader ORON KIRA arrange a unifying marriage, the Queen refuses these wishes, using Nadd's dark side power to summon an army only quashed by the arrival and bravery of Jedi Master ARCA JETH.

I'll probably continue to copy them so i ca have them on one page, and avoid all the ads everytime I want to check it out.
