haha, yeah. I tried at about five mintues after they went up. First I couldn't even get on Blizz's site, then I couldn't access the FAQ or the sign up page. Now it's just the sign up page, but that's pretty important. If you haven't read the FAQ yet, here are some highlights:

They are not saying how many people will be chosen.

They are not saying WHEN people will be chosen, just that you'll get an email.

CDs will be mailed, but you can also d/l the game if chosen. I assume the CD keys will be emailed.

There will be a forum that only testers can access, for gameplay feedback and developer comments.

Screenshots can be posted, "under certain conditions."

Those were the best parts. The rest were general things (ie, "most betas last three months, we expect this to last at least that," etc.).

For those that can't get in, the page says this:

"As long as you sign up by February 4th, you have the same chance of being selected as if you had signed up this evening. "

Will beta testers receive a free final copy of the game?
No. We hope you agree that being able to play the game before release is a rewarding experience in itself.
Comforting. I signed up this morning though.

I made it thru the sign up this morning as well. I am very tempted to sign up using my Mac as well since just use my Wife's name and her parents home address..

Hmmmmmmmmm

Being a Mac Beta tester could be fun :P

You'd probably have a better chance with the mac, truthfully. I mean, tons of people will sign up no matter what, but obviously the Mac users will be less, they're a rare breed.

Yeah thats what I was thinking.. I just wonder if my poor little 12" Laptop would fit the min requirments for the game. I might just have to take a look and find out.
