I just finished running the Tutorial for online mode. Good stuff :) I created QT3.14 to start with, but I am gonna mess around with other races I guess for now.

Good stuff though. :)

/edit/ I made Munki the beastman too :)

Quick Mini Review:

Single Player:
I'm enjoying it, although I pretty much will only play it when I can't get online. I might try and push through it so that I can unlock the 'extra mode' or whatever it is called (essentially online mode, offline). Voice Acting is terrible, but in that cheesy retro anime dub way. Even though it's pretty bad, I find it kinda funny and enjoy it.

Bottom Line: Fun, but not the 'primary' mdoe for me.

Multiplayer:
This is great. I fully expected it to just kinda be a small upgrade from PSO, but I think that I'm pleasently suprised at how improved it is. Its still the same type of game, and it's not radically different, but plenty has changed for the better.

When you start a mission, the leader can now do some preset 'loot rules'. An awesome addition for a game based on physically picking up items when they drop.

The class/job system seems like it will be cool, but it's hard to say as I haven't really gotten to explore it much yet.

The new weapons I've used are cool, and the tweaks to the existing types are great... in general a lot more weapon types are viable it seems (as opposed to the handful that were before).

Bottom Line: I'm really liking it. I don't know how much is 'nostalgia' and how much of it is really liking playing in a Sci Fi setting again, but so far I really like it.

OMG I hate that link. I clicked it >> Newmans >> Karen Erra (because I love her I would date with her) and found massive spoilers. I didn't notice the tiny 1-point Phat.Stack peepee font at the top that said WARNING FOR SPOILERS. I was about to look for all the story characters' background info, but now I'm afraid to.

Here's another link from our old favorite site. There's some stat samples of the expert classes buried in thread somewhere. Link
