Whooo.... Epic Loss. So that's two games for PlayNC that were major failures in the past 3 years guess they're lucky they have Lineage and CoX to lean on for money.
Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

...and I'll look down, and whisper "no."

Tomorrow is the last day for this game. I guess they are doing a massive game closing event. If you weren't familiar with TR's story, it's supposed to be a "humanity is on the brink of extermination by the Bane" or something along those lines.

So I guess this is the email they sent out for their end of game event:

We request that all military personnel begin fortifying defenses at every AFS base in preparation for a massive Bane assault. If enemy troop movements are as large as we fear, and the Neph are truly prepared to lead all out war against us, this may be our last stand. Penumbra has been informed of the situation and is standing by on the use of their last resort weapon. We can not afford to be complacent or uncertain, but if it is truly our destiny to be destroyed, we are taking them all with us.

Sounds like a pretty badass way to go out. Humanity is gonna lose!

There was preview footage of this big event in january (i think) where big ass things were supposed to wipe everyone out. You know, if NC Soft had more events like this then I think they would have had more players to sustain the game. Now that they saved these efforts for a last hurrah, its like nice job but too late now. I wonder how hammered their servers will be? Do they allow respawns or are you perma killed? Anyone playing this that can offer some coverage of the event?
Just past the line of sanity ^.

Sounds neat, but there's no way I'm going to reinstall just for this.
